With sizes from 60/80 to 325/400, the FK series is grown diamond. From FK-300, which is highly friable with sharp edges, to FK-600, which has high toughness and an excellent cubo-octahedral shape, the FK series offers a wide choice for resin, metal, vitrified and electroplated bond systems, for grinding and lapping of a variety of non-ferrous materials.
Semi-crystalline blocky shape with the lowest toughness among the FK series. Its rough surface enhances retention with the bond system. FK-300 provides an ideal balance between surface finish and tool life, mainly for flat glass beveling, pencil edging and cast iron grinding.
Cubo-octahedral shape, good toughness and thermal stability, with wonderful free-cutting capability for metal bond and electroplated tools. Mainly used in low-demand pencil edging and core drilling of glass and mirrors.
Excellent cubo-octahedral shape with very high toughness and thermal stability. It shows ideal results when a high material removal rate is required under extremely high grinding forces, mainly for tungsten carbide and core drilling of glass and mirrors.
The highest toughness and thermal stability with uniformly shaped cubo-octahedral crystals and minimal internal impurities in the FK series. Highly recommended for extremely demanding grinding, such as sawing and polishing very hard materials like granite, ceramics and tungsten carbide.
Through strong chemical bonding between the diamond and the titanium layer, diamond retention in the bonding system is greatly improved and enhanced, bringing an excellent removal rate and longer tool life.
